Is Montessori education religious?

Discover Montessori School is a non-denominational learning centre that provides many opportunities for students to connect with cultures and languages from around the world. 

We value diversity and celebrate our differences. We encourage families to share their cultural heritage so that each child can see themselves represented in the classrooms.

In the higher levels, we offer opportunities for students to travel abroad to Montessori Model United Nations Conferences in China, and other events, as part of their global learning.

We recognize provincial, national, and some international holidays, and approach special cultural days with curiosity and celebration.  We encourage our students share their special cultural days with us, and enjoy to learn more about their backgrounds.

In all we do, we promote grace and courtesy, the values, ethics and strategies that build positve character,  and build stewards of the Earth.  Cooperation and collaboration are valued for we are all in this world together.
